What time is Eid prayer?

How Eid dates are decided
Islamic months begin with the new crescent moon (hilal). On the 29th night of Ramadan, moon-sighting committees look for the Shawwal crescent just after sunset. A confirmed sighting means the next day is 1 Shawwal — Eid al-Fitr. No sighting means Ramadan completes 30 days.
Saudi Arabia and some countries follow the calculated Umm al-Qura calendar, while others — including much of South Asia, North Africa and many Western communities — wait for a physical sighting. That is why Eid can fall on different days in different countries, and why this page says "expected" until the night of the sighting.
