About Rani Sipri Mosque (Masjid-e-Nagina)

Rani Sipri Mosque was built in 1514 by Queen Sipri (also written as Rani Sabrai), a wife of Sultan Mahmud Begada of the Gujarat Sultanate. According to legend, she built it as an act of penance after an argument with the Sultan.
