Keighley Markazi Jamia Mosque

Keighley Markazi Jamia Mosque, run by the Keighley Muslim Association, is a purpose-built mosque in the Lawkholme area of Keighley and serves as the central jamia masjid for the town's large Muslim community, most of whom trace their roots to Pakistan. Widely described as one of the largest mosques in the north of England, it can accommodate around 1,300 worshippers for daily and Friday congregational prayers. Alongside the five daily prayers it functions as a community hub, hosting Islamic education and religious gatherings throughout the year. It is also known locally as The Islamic Society Jamia Masjid.

It is a purpose-built mosque rather than a converted building, and is frequently cited as one of the largest mosques in the north of England. With a reported capacity of around 1,300 worshippers, it is the principal central (markazi) jamia masjid serving Keighley's Muslim community. The mosque is run by the Keighley Muslim Association and is also recorded in directories under the names Keighley Muslim Association and The Islamic Society Jamia Masjid.
