About Masjid Umar (Evington)

Masjid Umar in the Evington area of Leicester is one of Leicester's well-established mosques, serving the Muslim community in the east of the city since 1975.

Located in the Evington area which has one of Leicester's most settled Muslim communities, the mosque provides the five daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha congregations, and taraweeh throughout Ramadan.
