About King Abdullah I Mosque
King Abdullah I Mosque was inaugurated in 1989 and is one of Amman's most iconic landmarks. The mosque features a stunning blue mosaic dome and can accommodate up to 7,000 worshippers inside, with additional space for 3,000 in the courtyard. It is open to non-Muslim visitors and serves as an important symbol of Jordanian national Islamic identity. The mosque is managed by the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
