History of Masjid Quba

Masjid Quba was the first mosque built in Islam. When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ arrived in Medina from Mecca in 622 CE, he stayed in Quba for three days and personally helped build this mosque. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever purifies himself at his home and comes to Masjid Quba and offers two rak'ahs therein, will have a reward like that of Umrah."
